Estate Agents Training Portal

At Van Deventer & Van Deventer Incorporated we know that becoming an estate agent is no simple task and takes a lot of hard work and dedication to complete all the various requirements as published in The Standard of Training of Estate Agents Regulations, 2008.

It is for this very reason that we have decided to launch our very own training program to assist agents in completing their Logbooks, NQF Level 4 Real Estate Course (SAQA QUAL ID 59097) as well as providing guidance on the Professional Designation Examination (PDE).

There are a lot of people offering Training for Estate Agents, though very few come with the guidance afforded by property law experts better than Van Deventer & Van Deventer Incorporated.

During 2017 a number of us from the KW Clockwork office and Rawsons were fortunate enough to receive detailed training, in depth explanations, online assistance as well as telephonic advice for the majority of the year in regard to property and what was required in order to qualify as an agent in the eyes of EAAB.

Formal training and assistance was provided at Van Deventer & Van Deventer Incorporated attorneys for a period of weeks to assist anyone who was struggling to complete the logbook. Cor can Deventer (Linkedin profile - ) was admirable in his instruction on how the logbook should be put together and what was required and why.

Whenever we were at a loss for where to obtain the document or article required, Cor was there to guide us. He further made personal time available to individuals who needed the files checked and approved. His knowledge was immense and extremely helpful.

We are all so grateful to him in this regard and hope he is able to assist with the NQF4 modules. Especially since he is so well versed in what is required by the Eaab. My log book was handed in and approved within 24 hrs. A feat to be acknowledged. Thanks to Cor.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) Assessment

We have linked up with Itakane RPL Assessment Centre and have negotiated a very favourable rate for all intern estate agents that will be completing the Coursework and Logbook through us.

Being an estate agent can be highly rewarding, but without being qualified as a real estate agent, the opportunity to advance your career is limited.

But before taking the leap, it’s important to know what it takes to complete the NQF Level 4 Real Estate Course and how to earn an income you can depend on.

The Real Estate industry is highly competitive and dependent on the well-being of the economy. Having said that, it’s also an industry where opportunities will exist for people eager to develop a career.

We believe that a high standard of training creates an exceptional agent capable of dealing in all matters regarding real estate and not just simply completing an Offer to Purchase.

An informed agent is a successful agent!
