Any property professional who wishes to become a fully qualified estate agent must write the Professional Designation Examination (PDE).
Only once the exam has been taken can Estate Agents be registered with the Estate Agency Affairs Board of South Africa.
The Real Estate NQF4 course will adequately prepare any person for the PDE which is based on a different curriculum to that of the previous EAAB examination.
In order to successfully pass the PDE, applicants are required to achieve 65% or more.

Additionally, there are certain fees which must be paid in order to process the application for the examination.
The Professional Designation Examination takes place on certain dates and enrolment for the examination opens and closes on specified dates. Results will also be released on a specified date once the examination has taken place.
